Abstract

The wave of protests that swept across Europe in the autumn of 2008 is gaining momentum again. Students, teachers, parents, trade unions, and members of social movements are defending “another education.” This first step from indifference toward cooperation may become the beginning of a powerful European movement that all of us urgently need.
