INOIT's Almavest is an innovative research, education and publishing centre established in 2011. It brings together work in research, education and scholarly publishing and develops cooperation with universities, research institutions and professional communities.

INOIT's Almavest is the publisher of the scholarly journal Alma Mater (Higher School Herald).

Mission and areas of activity

The mission of INOIT's Almavest is to connect research, education and professional publishing by creating an environment in which scholarly ideas can develop, become publications and educational solutions, and contribute to informed professional discussion.

The centre brings together research and educational expertise, supports the exchange of knowledge and encourages collaboration among researchers, educators and early-career scholars.

  • collaborative research and development in the humanities, social sciences, education and publishing;
  • cooperation with research and educational institutions and professional communities;
  • development of the information environment for research, higher education and innovation;
  • development and promotion of educational methods, academic programmes, textbooks, teaching materials and scholarly publications;
